About Me

I am a professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at Georgetown College in Kentucky, USA. My original training was in ergodic theory, but most of my teaching career has been devoted to statistics and—more recently—data science. For a time I also worked in the history of mathematics, in both Latin and Sanskrit sources.

This site is built with Hugo, via the R-package blogdown by Yihui Xie. The theme is modified Nick Stayer’s tuftesque, and the beta curves making up the banner are generated with D3 code modifed from Live Free or Dichotomize. The infinity icon is by Alice Noir, from the Noun Project.
